Allison-at OFS 8000 Series Transmission
The 8000 Series™ is designed to perform in severe operating conditions. These transmissions provide superior durability and improve the productivity of mining vehicles, oil field equipment and cranes. 8000 Series™ transmissions are available with six or seven forward gears, depending on the model. These gear ratios are optimized to provide leading performance and maneuverability in severe-duty applications. These transmissions can accommodate engines with power ratings ranging from 850 to 1,200 horsepower (634 – 895 kW) and torque capacities up to 3,600 lb-ft (4,881 N·m).
