Our transmissions feature a torque converter instead of a dry clutch, eliminating the need for manual shifting. With up to six available forward speeds and two reverse speeds, Allison’s 5000 Series™ transmissions offer ratings capabilities ranging from 600 to 900 horsepower (447 – 671 kW) and torque capabilities up to 2,000 lb-ft.
